Family Life: The main purpose of marriage and family, according to the government, is to create a society where everyone is matched with “the right person”.
The Ceremony
Citizens are free to date and hang out with whoever they want until they are 20 years old, usually in the middle of the RUBI division of their education. Once a certain generation (determined by the year they enter preschool) turns 20, there is a large annual ceremony, where young men and women are given the top 5 matches to their personality, interests, career, preferences, etc. Once an individual knows their matched partners, the young adults will be given some time to meet and get to know the other person.
Marriage Matching
According to statistics, 99.99% of the time, these matches work out perfectly, with rare cases of divorce, even though it is allowed with no complications. In the rare 0.01% chance that a match is not compatible, if a couple spends time with each other for at least 1 year, and can still prove to their state’s Family Relationship Services Branch that they are not compatible, then those individuals will be allowed to stay single, or marry who they love, however if they marry, they cannot get divorced, since they made the choice to live together.
After Marriage
Marriage ceremonies are usually nothing too extravagant, and must always take place in the local centroid, where the couple will seek blessings from the Infinite, who will ensure that the couple has a perfect life. After marriage, there is no limit to children, but once children are born, they become the center of the family since parents have to take responsibility to ensure that their children are admitted into a reputable preschool. Also, THERE IS NO PATRIARCHAL OR MATRILINEAL SOCIETY- gender differences are only biological.
Names
In Logitopia, as we have seen already people do not have names like our society does. First names are determined by a combination of 6 digits from 0-9. Last names are based on mathematical names/symbols, and children choose their own last names once they're older. All names are gender neutral, so there is no kind of inequality that way. There is also a mathematical system in place to ensure that two people from the same state do not have the exact same names.
Support System
Logitopia needs healthy people for the stimulation of its government! We have established LogitopiaCare, but citizens only go to the doctor for an emergency, and medical bills aren’t an issue at all. Doctors will regularly provide check ups at no cost. There is also no social media in Logitopia, as it has been deemed unnecessary. Most citizens have better things to do with their time, plus, we want citizens to interact with one another well. The support system of Logitopia is based on how much work you do and your contributions to the society. When you retire, after you have worked to the best of your abilities, you will live in an appropriate environment based on your contributions.
